Subspecies
No subspecies.

Forms a superspecies with Louisiade White-eye (Zosterops griseotinctus), Rennell White-eye (Zosterops rennellianus), Ranongga White-eye (Zosterops splendidus), Gizo White-eye (Zosterops luteirostris) and Solomons White-eye (Zosterops kulambangrae), possibly with Kolombangara White-eye (Zosterops murphyi) also a member of same group.
