Equatorial Guinea, S�o Tom� e Principe (B).

Príncipe, S�o Tom� and Pagalu (Annobón) in Gulf of Guinea.

Subspecies
Eastern Bronze-naped Pigeon (Columba delegorguei), Western Bronze-naped Pigeon (Columba iriditorques) and Sao Tome Bronze-naped Pigeon (Columba malherbii) (Sibley and Monroe 1990, 1993) are retained as separate species contra Dowsett and Forbes-Watson (1993) who include iriditorques and malherbii as subpecies of Eastern Bronze-naped Pigeon (Columba delegorguei).

Forms a superspecies with Eastern Bronze-naped Pigeon (Columba delegorguei) and Western Bronze-naped Pigeon (Columba iriditorques), and all may be conspecific. They are sometimes placed in a subgenus Turturoena.

No subspecies.
