Habitat
Subtropical and tropical lowland moist forest, swamp forest. From sea-level - 1,000 m.
Brazil, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, Venezuela.
Southern and eastern Venezuela and the Guianas south to northern Brazil (north of Amazon and east of R Negro); possibly also extreme eastern Colombia (eastern Vichada, eastern Guainía).
