Indus Valley (and lower reaches of its main tributaries), in Pakistan, eastern in Punjab to Delhi area, in northern India.

Habits

Nest
An untidy dome of grass, in the upper branches of a thorny tree or at the ends of thin branches overhanging water. Sometimes built below the nests of egrets, or as an extension of the nest of a Baya Weaver (Ploceus philippinus) or Asian Pied Starling (Gracupica contra).
