Breeds north, eastern and southern Spain, also north-western Africa in Western Sahara, much of Morocco, and eastern along coastal range and northern mountains in Algeria and Tunisia (south to southern slopes of Atlas) apparently to coastal north-western Libya;non-breeding western Africa.
