Subspecies
No subspecies.

Affinities unclear. May form a superspecies with Fiji White-eye (Zosterops explorator), Vanuatu White-eye (Zosterops flavifrons) and Green-backed White-eye (Zosterops xanthochroa). Looks exactly like an intermediate between last two species.
