Vagrant to Brunei Darussalam, Philippines.
Breeds from eastern European Russia east to eastern Siberia (to Kamchatka), south to northern Mongolia and Amurland. Non-breeding mainly from southern Nepal east to north-eastern India, Bangladesh, south-eastern Asia and south-eastern China.
