Western and northern Fiji Is: Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and Gau.

Subspecies
No subspecies.

Sometimes treated as conspecific with White-breasted Woodswallow (Artamus leucoryn). May also belong to the superspecies that contains Ivory-backed Woodswallow (Artamus monachus), Great Woodswallow (Artamus maximus) and White-backed Woodswallow (Artamus insignis).
