Tagula (Sudest) Island in the Louisiade Archipelago of Papua New Guinea.

Currently this species is not classified as a rarity in this country OR information has not been updated.

Population
Estimated population is unknown (2010).

Status DD
Not well known. Two were seen on a visit in 1992. Habitat loss and degradation due to logging is the main threat.
