quitensis Lesson, 1844 - Central Andes of Colombia south to extreme northern Peru.
atuensis Carriker, 1933 - Central Andes of northern Peru in southern Amazonas and eastern La Libertad. Considered by some authors to be a distinct species, Southern Tawny Antpitta (Grallaria atuensis).
