Nest
A large platform of twigs, seaweed and guano, on rocky headlands and islands. In colonies.
Subspecies
Often considered subspecies of Rough-faced Shag (Leucocarbo carunculatus). Some authors merge carunculatus, chalconotus and onslowi, and campbelli, ranfurlyi and colensoi into single species.
