(d’Orbigny & Lafresnaye, 1837)

Range (Guide)
Eastern slope of Andes in Peru (from Puno) south to southern Bolivia (Chuquisaca). Considered by some authors to be a subspecies of Blue-winged Mountain-tanager (Anisognathus somptuosus).
