(von Berlepsch & Taczanowski, 1884)

Range (Guide)
Western slope of Andes of south-western Colombia (Nariņo) and western Ecuador. Considered by some authors to be a subspecies of Black-eared Hemispingus (Sphenopsis melanotis).
