Eastern Panama; north-western Colombia (Choc�, eastern Antioquia, C�rdoba) and north-western Ecuador (locally in western Esmeraldas, southern Pichincha and northern Manab��). Considered by some authors to be a subspecies of Sibilant Sirystes (Sirystes sibilator).
