Range (Guide)
Eastern Brazil (southern Amapá, western Marajó I and, south of R Amazon, eastern from R Tocantins to western Maranhío). Considered by some authors to be a subspecies of Black-spotted Bare-eye (Phlegopsis nigromaculata).
