Eastern Asia from middle and upper R Yenisey, Altai Mts and northern Mongolia east to Anadyrland, Sea of Okhotsk and north-eastern China; probably winters mainly south-eastern Asia. Considered by some authors to be a subspecies of Northern House Martin (Delichon urbicum).
