Habitat
Subtropical and tropical moist lowland forest, subtropical and tropical swamp forest and moist shrubland. From sea-level - 600 m, occasionally up to 1,100 m.
East of Andes in Colombia (from Meta and Amazonas) south to eastern Ecuador and eastern Peru (south to Madre de Dios), and east, mostly south of R Amazon, to north-central Brazil (to lower R Xingu, in eastern Pará).
