Rarity Status
Currently this species is not classified as a rarity in this country OR information has not been updated.
Status EX
Last collected in 1907. Intensive searches in the subsequent few decades could find no sign of it and it is presumed extinct. Extinction probably the result of destruction of its understorey habit was introduced cattle and deer, and predation by rats and mongooses.
