Nest
Dome shaped with a side entrance, composed of grass and plant fibres, in dense foliage from 3 - 6 m above the ground.

Eggs (Guide)
3 - 4, sometimes 5. Incubation: 13 - 14 days.

Young
Fledge in 21 - 23 days.

Subspecies
No subspecies.

Considered by some authors to be a subspecies of Red-headed Parrotfinch (Erythrura cyaneovirens).
