The following 4 subspecies are recognised:
- minuta Bourns & Worcester, 1894 - Samar and Leyte, in east-central Philippine Is.
- fortichi Rand & Rabor, 1957 - Bohol, in south-central Philippines.
- mindanensis (Blasius, 1890) - Mindanao, in southern Philippines.
- basilanica Steere, 1890 - Basilan, off western Mindanao.
