Primary forest, mature secondary regrowth, coastal thickets and, less commonly, logged and disturbed forest. From 535 - 1,400 m.

C�te dIvoire (B) (NB), Ghana (B) (NB), Guinea (B) (NB), Liberia (B) (NB), Sierra Leone (B) (NB).

Unknown to Benin, Senegal.

South-western Senegal, south-western Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, southern Ivory Coast, southern Ghana and western Togo.

Currently this species is not classified as a rarity in this country OR information has not been updated.

Population
Estimated population is unknown (2010).

Status NT
Forest clearance due to commercial logging and agricultural encroachment is the main threat.
