Breeds south-eastern Russia (southern Ussuriland), north-eastern China (south-eastern Heilongjiang), Korea, southern Sakhalin I, southern Kuril Is, Japan and Ryukyu Is. Non-breeding south-eastern China, Taiwan and south-eastern Asia.
