Habitat
Upland forests, open scrub-like alpine areas. From 780 - 900 m.

Island of Savai’i, in western Samoa.

Estimated population is 1,000 - 2,499 (2010) and stable.
Status VU
Habitat destruction through slash-and-burn cultivation of upland forest, is the main threat.
