Habitat
Forest regrowth, trees and bushes in farmland and shaded cocoa and coffee plantations under the shade of large Eurythrina trees, plantations. From sea-level - 800 m.

Range (Guide)
Sâo Tomé e Principe (B) (NB).

Príncipe I, in Gulf of Guinea.

Nest
Openly woven cup composed of grasses, twigs, moss and petioles, and slung between two twigs.

Subspecies
No subspecies.

Possibly belongs to the superspecies formed by Black-capped Speirops (Zosterops lugubris) and Mount Cameroon Speirops (Zosterops melanocephalus).
