Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, C�te dIvoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan, Togo.

Vagrant to Sierra Leone.

Southern Mauritania, Senegambia, Guinea-Bissau and northern Guinea eastern in narrow band (semi-arid belt) to southern Chad, northern Central African Republic and western and east-central Sudan.
