Subtropical and tropical lowland dry grassland. From sea-level - 2,200 m.

Range (Guide)

Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo [The Democratic Republic of the], Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania [United Republic of], Uganda.

South-eastern Nigeria and southern Cameroon east to south-western Central African Republic; north-eastern DRCongo east to central Kenya and south to Burundi; and north-western Angola.
