Vagrant to Cyprus, Egypt, Netherlands Antilles, Norway, Sweden, United Kingdom.

Asia Minor and Levant east to Iran, and southern Kazakhstan, Tadjikistan and Afghanistan. Non-breeding north-eastern and eastern Africa.
