Mountains of central New Guinea: Weyland Mts, Nassau Range (L Habbema-R Ibele region), Oranje Range (Mt Goliath) and Southern Highlands Province (Tari Gap).

Estimated population is unknown (2010).

Status DD
Habitat destruction through extensive logging is the main threat.
