Brazil (B).

South-eastern Brazil from eastern Bahia (near Salvador) south to central Paran�, eastern Santa Catarina and extreme north-eastern Rio Grande do Sul.

Currently this species is not classified as a rarity in this country OR information has not been updated.

Population
Estimated population is unknown (2010) and decreasing.

Status NT
Habitat destruction and fragmentation of forest is the main threat.
