Habitat
Subtropical and tropical moist montane forest. From 1,850 - 3,350 m, occasionally down to 400 m.
Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru.
Colombia (locally in central and eastern Andes, also western slope in northern and south) south to Ecuador (south to Cotopaxi) on western slope and to Bolivia (La Paz, Cochabamba) on eastern slope.
