Habitat
Temperate forest and grassland, urban areas, arable land.
Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, USA (B).
Vagrant to Bermuda, Canada, Cuba, Ecuador.
Southern tier of USA, from Arizona to Florida. Winters in South America, south to northern Argentina and Paraguay.
