Habitat
Subtropical and tropical montane moist forest, lowland seasonally wet / flooded grassland, arable land. From 1,000 - 3,600 m.
Bhutan, China (mainland), India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam.
North-eastern India and Myanmar east to south-central China (southern Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan), and south to northern Thailand, north-western Vietnam and northern Laos; recent possible record from east-central Nepal.
