Habitat
Subtropical and tropical lowland moist forest, high altitude shrubland, temperate forest and shrubland. From 1,200 - 3,200 m, occasionally down to 100 m.

Range (Guide)

Bhutan, China (mainland), India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Taiwan (China), Thailand.

Tibet, Nepal, Sikkim and Assam to Myanmar, Thailand, central-southern China (Yunnan) and Taiwan.
