Ground-feeding, rock-dwelling.
Food
Seeds, cultivated grains, berries.
Subspecies
Forms a superspecies with Yellow-eyed Pigeon (Columba eversmanni). Also closely related to Stock Dove (Columba oenas).
No subspecies.
Similar Species
Within its range it might be confused with Feral Pigeon (Rock Dove (Columba livia)) which is larger and much darker.
