South-central and southern Philippines on Leyte, Negros, Cebu, Biliran, Samar and Mindanao.

Estimated population is unknown (2010) and decreasing.

Status NT
Habitat loss through commercial logging, conversion for agriculture and plantation forestry, urban developments and mining, are the main threats.
