Subspecies
Genus often merged into Collocalia. Forms superspecies with Mossy-nest Swiftlet (Aerodramus salangana), Uniform Swiftlet (Aerodramus vanikorensis), Mariana Swiftlet (Aerodramus bartschi) and Caroline Swiftlet (Aerodramus inquietus) and all were formerly considered conspecific. Previously placed in Mariana Swiftlet (Aerodramus bartschi), and sometimes also associated with subspecies germani and inexpectatus of Edible-nest Swiftlet (Aerodramus fuciphagus).

No subspecies.
