Subspecies
The following 2 subspecies are recognised:

egregia (Sclater, 1881) - South-eastern Venezuela and adjacent south-western Guyana.
obscura Zimmer, JT & Phelps, 1946 - Southern Venezuela and adjacent extreme north-eastern Brazil.
