Subtropical and tropical lowland moist forest.

Rarity Status
Currently this species is not classified as a rarity in this country OR information has not been updated.
Status NR
Known only from the work of Gosse in 1847 based on "specimen shot about 1765, by Mr Odell" in the mountains of Hanover Parish, east of Lucea, Jamaica. It was presumably hunted to extinction at the end of the 18th century.
