Habitat
Undisturbed, tall, humid forest with dense, tangled undergrowth. Also dry zone riverine forest. From sea-level - 920 m, but has been recorded up to 1,540 m.

Habits
Solitary or in mixed feeding flocks, usually in the canopy.
Food
Mainly invertebrates, but also fruit and berries.
Voice
Occasional short, yelping whistles. A low 'kra'. A hollow 'kok'.
