Subspecies
All members of genus form superspecies.

Has hybridized in captivity with Great Curassow (Crax rubra) and Bare-faced Curassow (Crax fasciolata), producing birds with a green cere; also with Wattled Curassow (Crax globulosa), White-crested Guan (Penelope pileata) and Razor-billed Curassow (Mitu tuberosum).

No subspecies.
