Angola, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo [The Democratic Republic of the], Congo [The Democratic Republic of the], C�te dIvoire, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Zambia.

Guinea and Ghana through southern Nigeria and Cameroon to northern Congo, northern Zaire, western Uganda, Kasai zone (north-eastern Angola, south-western Zaire), north-western Angola and north-western Zambia; possibly also Sierra Leone, with two recent records from Gola Forest.

Estimated population is unknown (2010).
