Savile's Bustard © oiseaux.net

Genus frequently merged with Eupodotis. Forms superspecies with Buff-crested Bustard (Lophotis gindiana) and Red-crested Bustard (Lophotis ruficrista), but not known to perform their rocket-flight displays. All are often considered conspecific.
