virens (Gmelin, 1789) - Breeds in southern Canada (extreme eastern British Columbia east to Newfoundland and Nova Scotia) and southern in north-eastern USA to Wisconsin, southern Michigan and New England, and in Appalachians to northern Georgia and Alabama, with isolated population in central Arkansas; migrates to eastern Middle America and Caribbean, also locally Pacific slope of southern Mexico, and in smaller numbers to southern USA (southern Texas, southern Florida) and northern Colombia and northern Venezuela.
