Habitat
Subtropical and tropical moist montane forest. From 1,800 - 2,500 m.
Burundi, Congo [The Democratic Republic of the], Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania [United Republic of], Uganda.
South-eastern Sudan, south-western Ethiopia, extreme eastern DRCongo, south-western Uganda, western parts of Rwanda and Burundi, Mt Elgon (eastern Uganda-western Kenya border), central and southern Kenya, and north, western and south-western Tanzania.

Estimated population is unknown (2010).
