Habitat
Flat and usually sparsely vegetated high plateaux and ridge-tops with a few boulders, with a covering of spinifex and a sparse layer of shrubs and trees.

Bulky, domed, composed of grass, leaves and strips of bark, hidden in the top of a spinifex tussock.

2; matt, white-pink, sparingly speckled and blotched with red-brown with underlying markings of purple-grey, forming a distinct zone at the larger end; oval; about 23 x 16 mm.
