Habitat
Subtropical and tropical Swamp forest. From sea-level - 350 m.
Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Venezuela.
Southern Venezuela (western Apure, Amazonas), northern Brazil (R Negro south to northern bank of Amazon and to R Nhamundá, also eastern on southern bank to R Tocantins) and north-eastern Peru (Sarayacu, R Ucayali); also locally in Guyana, eastern Colombia (western Meta) and north-eastern Ecuador.
