Habitat
Forest with dense undergrowth and bamboo on steep mountain slopes. From 1,800 - 3,300 m.

Range (Guide)

Taiwan (China) (B) (NB).

Mountains of central Taiwan.

Population
Estimated population is 10,000 - 19,999 (2010) and decreasing.

Status NT
Habitat loss due to infrastructure development and landslides is the main threat.
