Habitat
Thickets and damp undergrowth in broad-leaved evergreen forest. From 1,500 - 2,000 m, but ranges from 700 - 3,000 m.

Range (Guide)

Taiwan (China) (B) (NB).

Mountains of Taiwan.

Population
Estimated population is 2,500 - 9,999 (2010) and decreasing.

Status LC
Habitat loss for timber production and conversion to agricultural land and possibly the use of pesticide are the main threats.
