Subtropical and tropical montane moist forest. From 1,450 - 1,600 m.

Range (Guide)

Indonesia (B) (NB).

Tamrau, Arfak and Wandammen Mts of Vogelkop, north-western New Guinea.

Population
Estimated population is unknown (2010) and decreasing.

Status NT
Localised forest loss and incidental kills from dogs on hunting trips, introduced predatory mammals are the main threats.
