Subspecies
May form a superspecies with Bare-eyed Myna (Streptocitta albertinae).
The following 2 subspecies are recognised:
torquata (Temminck, 1828) - Northern and eastern Sulawesi, including Lembeh and Togian Is. Considered by some authors to be a distinct species, Northern White-necked Myna (Streptocitta torquata).
albicollis (Vieillot, 1818) - Southern and south-eastern Sulawesi, Muna and Buton.
